Fishy Jump Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Fishy Jump ("the app") is made by Nabendu Sinha ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
The short version
Fishy Jump has no accounts or sign-ups, and we don't collect your name, email address or contacts. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect some device information to show and measure those ads. You can choose whether ads are personalised.
Information stored on your device
The app saves your best score, starfish, unlocked fish and settings (such as controls and sound) on your device only. We don't receive this information. Deleting the app deletes it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google may collect and process:
- your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone, only if you allow tracking);
- an approximate location, estimated from your IP address;
- information about the ads you see and interact with;
- diagnostic information such as crash and performance data.
Google uses this to show ads, measure how well they work, prevent fraud and, with your permission, personalise ads. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data from partner apps.
Your choices about ads
- UK and EU players: when you first open the app, you're asked whether to allow personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time from "Privacy settings" in the app's menu.
- iPhone and iPad: Apple asks whether Fishy Jump may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalised using your advertising identifier. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Remove ads: you can buy "Remove ads" in the app's shop to stop the ads that appear between runs.
In-app purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details.
Game Center and Google Play Games
If you sign in to Game Center (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android), your scores are sent to Apple or Google so they can show leaderboards. These services are run under Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.
Children
Fishy Jump is a general-audience game and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we'll help remove it.
Your rights
If you're in the UK or EU, you have rights under data protection law, including the right to access, correct or delete personal data, and to object to its use for advertising. We hold no personal data about you ourselves. For data held by Google, use the in-app "Privacy settings" option or Google's privacy tools. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
